Lexicalization Of "V Bude" And Its Exemplifications

Lexicalization is a very important language phenomenon,but the study is not enough. Based on CCL corpus,this thesis discusses and researchs the lexicalization of "V bude" which is a trisyllable in Modern Chinese.We select "guaibude","liaobude","shebude","henbude" as example to research.We think,in Modern Chinese,most words of "Vbude" are the syntactic structures.And they are temporary. Some words are formed from lexicalization. Some words are formed from morphological rules,and they don't have lexicalization processes.There are five chapters in this thesis except the introduction.The first four chapters describe the lexicalization of "guaibude","liaobude","shebude","henbude", including the forming time,the bleaching process and the relationship between "V" and "bude".In first chapter,we think the adverb "guaibude" is formed out of lexicazation from the negative form of "verb+complement" structure. And we conclude its lexicalized mechanism: reanalysis,the change of syntactic location and subjectivisation.In second chapter,we think the adjective "liaobude" is formed out of lexicazation from the negative form of "verb+complement" struction. "Liaobude" has three meaning. And we conclude its lexicalized machanism: reanalysis,the syntactic structure location and subjectivasation.In third chapter,we think the verb "shebude" which means "can not leave sb or sth" formed out of lexicazation from the negative form of "verb+complement" struction which means "can not leave sb or sth because of love ".The lexicalized machanism of "shebude" are reanalysis and abduction.In forth chapter,we think the verb "henbude" is formed out of trans-layered structure "hen+bude". There are four marks which can distinguish the verb "henbude" to trans-layered structure "hen+bude".In fiveth chapter,we conclude lexicalized mechanism:reanalysis,the syntactic location,semantic grammatication,subjectivisation and abduction. According the theory of "Chinese Lexicon And Morphology",we think there are three formation of "Vbude".
