A Study On Marx's Philosophy Of Value

Philosophy of Value is an important component in Marx's philosophy, and the purpose of studying Marx's philosophy of value is not only to re-understand Marx's philosophy, but also to find a new way for developing our current study on Philosophy of Value.By carefully reading the relevant literature and using the history-reality combination method while adhering to the basic principles of dialectical materialism, this paper considers that "value" is the effectiveness of objects which is generated in the process of interaction practice between subject and object, and can promote the survival, development and improvement of subject. Also, it defines the subject name and discipline orientation of Philosophy of Value. Although the name of "Philosophy of Value" is different from "the theory of value", they share the same content, and the Philosophy of Value is an integral part of philosophy. On the basis of summing up the study about Marx's Philosophy of Value by domestic and foreign scholars and researching the background of the formation of Marx's Philosophy of Value, this paper illuminates the main content of Marx's Philosophy of Value comprehensively and systematically. Marx created a '"change the world" paradigm for the Philosophy of Value, and regarded the "realistic, living individuals" as the subjects of value, and also, he took "personal self-determination activity" as the foundation of value generation while considered "continuous and actual work and creation" as the path of value generation, still, he set "individual all-round development" as the proletariat's goal of value pursuit and looked upon "the vast majority of people's interest" as the Communists' fundamental criterion for the value evaluation.Marx's Philosophy of Value plays an important role in Marx's philosophy: achieving value is the underlying theme of Marx's philosophy, and value analyzing is a consistent method of Marx's philosophy, while value care is the distinctive feature of Marx's philosophy. Marx's Philosophy of Value clearly reflects the practical nature of Marxist philosophy; it provides guidance for building ours harmonious socialist society and has important theoretical and practical significance. We ought to continuously strengthen this research field while take new practice into consideration, and strive to build the system of Marx's Philosophical of Value, and accelerate the building of our harmonious socialist society.
