"NP(Receptor)+Vqilai+AP" is one of the common sentence structures in Modern Chinese, with certain own specialties in its form and meaning. So far, there have been a lot of research results drawn by scholars, but still there are some important points unsettled. It is of importance with the Chinese language study and Chinese teaching as a second language to study this sentence structure all-around and systematically. Therefore, based on the previous research results and the first-hand language materials, this thesis, adopting some theories of structuralism linguistics and cognitive linguistics, describes the syntactic features and semantic features of this sentence structure. Its dynamics of sentence constructing are explored from the perspective of pragmatics and cognition, and we also compare the sentence structure and other sentences with appraisal meaning in their syntactic and semantic features. Besides the Introduction and Conclusion, this thesis comprises of four chapters.Chapterâ… describes the syntactic features of the constituents of the sentence structure, its expanding forms and its distribution. According to the semantic orientation of NP, we classify the sentence structure as three types and separately analyze their own syntactic hiberarchies. In Chapterâ…¡, the semantic features of the constituents are analyzed from the whole language materials. We identify the semantic features of the NP,V and AP, and by which we classify the sentences. It is concluded that the three types of the sentence structure have different restraints with V and AP., and thus that the constituents have restricts with each other. Through the analysis of the semantic meaning of "qilai" and the whole sentence, we exclude the sentences which share the same form but differ in fact. Chapterâ…¢focuses on the dynamics of the sentence constructing from the perspectives of pragmatics and cognition, and certain related responsibility conditions the sentence requires. In Chapterâ…£, we compare the sentence structure with "NP(receptor) +V zhe+AP" and "NP(receptor)+V shangqu+AP", which share the similar sentence structure with "V qilai" sentence. "zhe","shangqu" have the reason to express appraisal meaning, and the different meaning of the words affect the choice of the sentences with V.
