A Study On The Disyllabic Verbs In Houhanshu

The research object of this dissertation is the disyllabic verbs in Houhanshu. The thesis analyzes and studies the disyllabic verbs in Houhanshu objectively and accurately from the angles of vocabulary, so as to provide some materials for the study of disyllabic words of accient Chinese on vocabulary and grammar. In the field of vocabulary , we chiefly make most of the theories of lexics and rhetoric to define the disyllabic verbs in Houhanshu and pick up carefully all of the disyllabic verbs in it, moreover, we classify the verbs on base of structures, and part of speech and analyzes the composition and semantics. In addition, under the study of grammar, the dissertation makes the statistics of the disyllabic verbs of Houhanshu in distribution and combination as well as sentence element and finally reveals the characteristic of phraseological function.Meanwhile, on the base of study of the disyllabic verbs of Houhanshu , the thesis also reviews the situation of the split words, and see about and research the splitting phenomena from the angles of feature of semantics and part of speech.
