Based on the empirical study and the related materials, this paper analyses children's mental health state, behavioral problems and family factors. Also, the paper explore the relationship between the family factors and the level of the children's mental health and children's behavioral problems in order to achieve some purposes. Such as to improve the function of family and the method of parental rearing patterns; to note and relieve the psychological distress while children are growing up; to intervene and rectify the mental behavior problems. Futhermore, this paper can provide psychological basis for develop a healthy kind of chilren's psychology,social behavior and their parents' rearing styles scientifically.We use "Children's Mental Health Assessment","Conners Rating Scale","Stengths and Difficulties Questionnair" and " Family Assessment Device"as research tools to study the children in ShuaiHai and YueQing, and this research acquires the main results as following:1. In gender factor, there is no significant difference in children's psychological health. There are significant differences in children's behavior at home and at school . For example, girls might be better than boys in impulsive hyperactivity, hyperactivity index, pay no attention to the passive and self-discipline.2. Infants' psychological health marked differences in ages.Among all the factors of mental health, there are no significant differences between children of 4 and 5-year-old. However, there are great differences among four and five -year-old and six-year-old children.Children may have more obvious psychological development in the age of five and six. There are significant differences between children's conduction at home and at school which is expressed in age. In general, in the aspects of conduct behavior, learning problems, pay attention to the passive, hyperactivity indices,children of five and six-year-old have no obvious differences. But children age four have significant or borderline significant difference in the conduct behavior, learning problems, pay attention to the passive, hyperactivity indices, compared with children of 5 or 6 years old. Infants may have obvious development during the age of 4 and 5.3. Infants psychological health and their conduct at home show obvious differences in factors between urban and rural areas. Shanghai children group may be better than Yueqing group in the mental health level and behavior at home.4. there were significant differences in the child dependency status of infant mental health, behavior, emotional feelings, social factors and mental health score. Children who are brought up by their own parents may superior in mental health to children who are brought up by others.There are no significant difference between factors in child care on behavior that children are at home and in school.5. Family function has no obvious impact on children'sgender factor. The role of family function has significant difference among factors in age. 6-year-old children's family role and function is superior to 5-year-old children's family role and function. Family function in multiple factor exists in main effects of urban and rural factors. Shanghai group functions of the family of young children may be better than the Yueqing group functions of the family of young children.The role factor in family function has significant differences in children care.In the family where children are taken care of by others Family role functioning may be greater than oneself is the better parent.6. Family functioning factors show a significant positive correlation in many aspects ,such as infant psychological health and behavior. Functions of the family factors to some extent, can predict the infant mental health and the performance of certain aspects of infant behavior, which has a positive contribution.Of which the emotional response function, emotional involvement function and behavior control may have greater impact on infants' psychological behavior development.
