Study On D·Scarlatti Sonata In Bayan's Performance

The research of D-Scarlati's harpsichord sonatas has prominent and realistic significance. Starting off with the capabilities of button accordion, I make the comparison of organizations between button accordion and other keyboard instruments which is a sound preparation for the study of interpretative skills on it.In terms of interpretative skills, this dissertation begins with the touch of keys, with extension to the control of breath, diversification of timbre, exhibition of polyphonic texture and the treatment of ornamentation.The interpretation of Scarlatti's sonatas with button accordion requires considerations both of the musical content and style of composition and technical advantages and specialties of this instrument. This dissertation discusses the special treatments of button accordion on basis of its specialty. One is its control on touch of keys; the second is the grasping of its breath; the third is the development of timbre; the last one is balanced treatment of voices.In the end, this dissertation also produces some extensive significance about how to combine monographic and general study, and how to apply these theories to performing practice, which is actually its social application. Hope that my research could inspire current theoretical studies so that to promote social importance of interpretative theory.
