The civil portrait of Ming and Qing dynasties are the main research subjects in this paper.it probes the Significance of the civil portrait of Ming and Qing,such as the meaning of demotics, techniques and theories.It also comparing the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western portrait.Thus summarize in this ancient art of great significance in today. preface is the first part ,it's a brief history and the concept of the portraits . The first chapter of this article is the second part .it talk focused on the sociological significance of the civil portrait of Ming and Qing.such as :1.
