| With rapid development and continuous improvement of modern science and technology, due to its diversity of expression, convenience of operation, rich information, resource-sharing, and so on, multimedia is widely used more and more in every corner of the society. Specifically, with the promotion and application in the field of education, in particular, in the field of education, multimedia can effectively stimulate the learner to learn and enrich teaching methods, thereby improving the learning effects, which becomes a direction of the development of education. As to English language teaching which based on practical application, listening course becomes the most basic and important aspect. The use of multimedia technology can provide a wealth of learning materials, create more real and natural English language context, stimulate the learners'auditory, visual and other sensory organs. Therefore, multimedia technology plays a more and more important role. At present, multimedia has been widely used in schools of all types and levels, which has achieved certain effects.However, the current multimedia-aided teaching is more expressed in the hardware changes, especially in college English listening teaching activities, many teachers just put the computer multi-media as tools to demonstrate and a substitute teacher machine, lacking effective integration of information technology with curriculum, lacking design teaching system of content, methods, resources and environment of English listening teaching . Therefore, the students can not get effective means to arouse, which means multimedia can not play their due role. Which not only causes a waste of equipment, but also severely restricts further effectiveness of the teaching of English listening. Thus, solving college English listening teaching problems in multi-media environment is not only good for raising the level of students'listening, improving the effectiveness of college English teaching, but also good for enhancing performance of multimedia equipment, and an overall improvement in the overall effectiveness of English teaching.Facing the status of teaching English listening, I select some English teachers and sophomore students in Jiangnan University, Shenyang Normal University and Sichuan University to conduct the relevant survey research, revealing problems in the multimedia environment of college English listening teaching, and giving an analysis of the root. On the basis of the previous research on English listening teaching, and other multi-media technology, and based on basic theory of education, psychology and foreign language teaching, this thesis brings forward measures to correct misconceptions and strengthen quality both of teachers and students, to enhance the instructional design capacity of teachers, and pay more attention to teaching resources management, aiming to provide reference for the majority of English teachers, and hoping for providing theoretical and practical guidance for the college English listening teaching activities in multimedia environment. |
