Research On The Two-syllabled Words The Book Of Nan Qi Dynasty

The investigation object of this paper is the Book of Nan Qi Dynasty, I try to describe and analyze the two-syllabled words and then display some basic characteristics of Middle Ages Chinese language.This paper is organized into three chapters.First: The outline of the Book of Nan Qi Dynasty, the general researching situation of two-syllabled words and the judging standards of two-syllabled words. The standards include meaning, structure and the appearing frequency of this word.Second: The analysis of structure of two-syllabled words in the Book of Nan Qi Dynasty. The two-syllabled words can be divided into two genres: pure two-syllabled words and compound two-syllabled words. The first is outnumbered by the second, two thirds of which are of binding structure and modifial structure.Third: With reference of Hanyu Dacidian, analyzing the new words and new meaning of two-syllabled words in the Book of Nan Qi Dynasty. During reading the Book of Nan Qi Dynasty and annotation, we had noticed some faults in Hanyu Dacidian. The paper has corrected some of them.
