Chen Fu Jiaozhou Manuscript And The Cultural Exchange Between China And Vietnam In Yuan Dynasty

In ancient times China had special relations with Vietnam. In more than 2000 years, Vietnam, as a county of China, had existed for more than 1000 years. Then Vietnam became a independent feudal country, but it had been maintained and the suzerain-vassal relations between the Chinese and Chinese tribute to concede defeat. The development between China and Vietnam was during The Yuan Dynasty. Chinese culture spread further in Vietnam and Sino-Vietnamese cultural exchange had achieved great achievements. The diplomatic agent is a special way of Sino-Vietnamese cultural exchange. They had both political and cultural significance, as well, they promoted the Sino-Vietnamese relations and the development and integration of culture. In this paper, the following five areas will be discussed. The first chapter, analyzes the role of envoy in Yuan Dynasty, as well, the appearance of envoys had indicated the emergence of Vietnamese literature. The second chapter, discusses the Yuan envoy Chen Fu's biography and what had he done in Vietnam, as well , how the anthology Jiaozhou Manuscript came into being and spread. The third chapter, discusses Jiaozhou Manuscript from the content and the form angle, i.e. discusses the record and artistic feature. The fourth chapter, discusses Sino-Vietnamese cultural features upon the example of exchange between Yuan Dynasty and Vietnam. The fifth chapter comes the conclusion, it summarizes the tremendous significance of diplomatic agent in Yuan Dynasty in cultural exchange, as well as the special significance. This had affirmed the diplomatic agent and the influence to both China and Vietnam . This article believed that regarding theterritory outside the Chinese literature research, the diplomatic agents' literatureresearch may develop the new angle of view and the domain, propose the profoundenlightenment.
