China has had close-knit affiliation with Japan in politic, economic, religion and culture areas since ancient time. There are many recordations about Japan in the Book of Former Han. And in Japanese history books, we also can find a lot of recordation about China. In ancient time, Japan had looked up to china as an example, because, geographically, China is the closest big ancient empire with civilization of thousands of years.At Qin dynasty, the old Chinese culture started to lead in to Japan. Since the Western and Eastern Han Dynasties and Three Kingdoms era, China and north Kyushu's communication had increased. After 4th century, Chinese South Dynasty formally began to contact with Japan. In the 5th century, Japanese used the Chinese characters as an express tool and phonetic symbol . it was called"the Million leaves Kana". Since then the Japanese intelligentsia started to learn the Chinese classic works, and their ethical and propriety code had been deeply influenced by Chinese civilization. After thousands of years of contact, it is inevitable to bring some common views in social and cultural fields. However, there are a lot of differences between these two countries due to the different racial identity, natural and social environments.The thesis does the research of the comparison between two countries' ancient theories of atheistic in the cultural poetry field to complement each other's theory.
