There are a great variety of excellent Tang Poems in our country, and thus published some anthologies and the connoisseurship dictionaries for analyzing and interpreting the Tang poems in recent years, of which "Tang Poem Connoisseurship Dictionary" published by Shanghai Dictionary Publishing House enjoys the greatest prestige. These anthologies and the connoisseurship dictionaries contributed a lot to the readers in understanding the Tang poems, but due to the neglect of some key points interpretation in the poems, it may lead to some content misunderstanding, and affect artistic appreciation. The misinterpretation approximately falls into four categories: First, without annotation, the interpretation creates misunderstanding; Second, interpreting the word in modern way; Third, the neglect of the polysemy words and expressions; Fourth, the lack of the knowledge in the special ancient Chinese grammar rhetoric phenomenon. From the above analysis in four aspects to the misinterpretation of words and expressions, it can be seen that when analyzing and appreciating the classical poetry (even including other classical literature work), it had been better that the researchers should place more emphasis on words, to be specific, should unify the literary work research and the explanation of words in ancient books together. On the other hand, the researchers majoring in the explanation of words in ancient books, should also pay attention to the appreciation of the ancient literary works.
