In Bakhtin's theory, as the ideal spiritual state of literature in the times, folk culture is the source of human civilization, and has the internal power of pushing mutual cultural reception. Myth is deeply rooted in the soil of folk culture, it is so widespread to permeate the domain of literature and cultural. Myth rewriting, as a product of the cultural context ofreconstructing literary canon, is echoing the trend of"myth revival"and"canon reconstruction". The different between east and west myth is long standing, and also, strictly speaking, such writing consciousness of myth rewriting,is not a literary tradition, while in western, is conscious and mature. In the current days of rewritting ,the rewriters of myth rewriting are vary because of cultural difference, tidal currents, gender dimensions and writing idea. If is thought that western writers want to rewrite and reconstrue the history, then the chinese writers are more likely to rely on the historical memory. This paper takes the books which have been published as examples ,explicates the carnivalization between the texts and significance, besides, With the examples of female images and Existentialism , try to explore the difference between western and chinese thinking, which have an important inferen to the practical significance of the writers.
