Teacher-student relationship is the most important and basic relationship in the educational field, the relationship between teacher and student could have a immediate influence on the quality of education and the healthy development of students. Scholar at home and abroad did many studies on teacher-student relationship, however, most of their studies based on theory discussion and experience summing-up, and that most studies which based on demonstration analysis measure off the teacher-student relationship according to the attachment theory, these studies just measure off attachment type of the teacher-student relationship without discussion of the specific behavior about teacher-student intercommunication and also without the questionnaire to measure it.This study is supposed to discuss the teacher-student relationship in the viewpoint of social- exchange theory ,that is , define the teacher-student exchange as a process of exchange the resource they have .In this article, we did a theoretic description of the characteristic about teacher-student exchange , how it formed ,and what did they exchange .Chosen the students from junior school as the subjects ,construct the theoretical foundation on social-exchange recourse theory, according to the results of open questionnaire survey and related literature,the author formed a model of teacher-student exchange structure and worked out the items of questionnaire. Exploratory factorial analysis of the trial questionnaire and the confirmatory factorial analysis of the formal questionnaire confirmed the reasonable structure of teacher-student exchange relationship。Use this questionnaire measure the teacher-student exchange relationship, and investigate its status quo.Result :1 The teacher-student social exchange relationship questionnaire have 26 items, and composed of four factors, be willing to return, help and support, close affection and respect for special characteristic .this questionnaire has a clear structure and favorable reliability and validity, can use it to measure the quality of teacher-student exchange relationship .2 The quality of teacher-student exchange relationship in junior school is favorable. Teacher-student exchange relationship in junior school has no significant difference on gender and dwelling place, but it has significant differences on grade, the type of school, whether the students is a Class cadre or not ,and the rank of score assessment. The quality of teacher-student exchange relationship changes with grade, Grade one is the best while Grade three is the worse; It is better in key middle school than it in average school ;In the class ,the exchange relationship between teacher and class cadre are better than it between teacher and common student; The quality of teacher-student exchange relationship also has much to do with the rank of score assessment ,the higher the students rank ,the better teacher-student exchange relationship the students have .
