The Southern Jiangxi and Western Fukien constitute the revolutionary base area in the Central Soviet Area. It was the biggest revolutionary base area, which was established by the Communist Party of China in the Second Revolutionary Civil War (1927—1934) throughout the country. As one of the major historical events during this period, the Agrarian Revolution exerted a major influence on the rural social structure of the Central Soviet Area.In the respects of geography, ecology, population etc., countries in the Central Soviet Area were suitable for undertaking revolutionary work. Even so, it was still a traditional agricultural community. The arrival of the revolution was the major driving force to change the rural social structure. In the organizational structure of the society, the Soviet regime replaced the old rural power while class relations in place of the sort of clan relations. In the economic structure of the society, the Agrarian Revolution broke up the land ownership by the landlord class, land and other production factors centralized in the hands of farmers. In addition, the cooperative economy and some other forms of economy emerged and developed. People's material life had improved. In the cultural structure, the old patriarchal ideology and peasants consciousness were gradually replaced by new customs. At the same time, a kind of new social life began to shape.
