| The one hundred and twenty-four Poems Replying to Tao Yuan-ming (a great poet of the Jin Dynasty in ancient China) written by Sushi (one of the famous poets in the Song Dynasty in ancient China) by Sushi is a special and notable literary phenomenon in his poem writing, as well as unusual one in the history of Chinese literature. This paper takes this the object of study. Over the years, it has been a vexed question and has received mixed reviews from literary critics. Many scholars give different opinions about this, with some holding positive attitudes and some negative ones. Unfortunately, the majority of them discuss only from the dates of the writing of , the replying rhyme device employed in , the thought and contents of , and the artistic features of Poems Replying to Tao Yuan-ming. Based on the previous research and the text analysis, this paper draws the conclusion that Poems Replying to Tao Yuan-ming is the poetic hermeneutics of Sushi's'Dao ( the way) ideology'and'cloistered ideology'.Talking about the explication made by Sushi about The Book of Changes and The Analects, it explains Sushi'Dao which is considered to be an abstractly object entity by him. Drawing on his owe experiences and practices, Sushi brings in the concept of'change'which is used to pursue a variety of objects and phenomenon existing in life and give explanations about problems existing realistically, and the concept of'invariability', which is'Dao'everywhere.'Dao', with humaneness as its core, can consciously creates everything on earth, and Sushi wants to train himself to be a person of principle who consciously does what is right in any case.In Sushi's Poems Replying to Tao Yuan-ming there are many about liquor, which is the medium he uses to experience and transcend life. During the chapter of using liquor to smooth over the rough edges of life, it introduces into Zhuang-tse's concepts of Youdai ( something can be used to make people gain a absolute freedom) and Wudai(nothing can be used to make people gain a absolute freedom). The former can get him to forget the annoyment of reality and enter the relative realm of life, and the latter can make his mind fly freely in an absolutely free ideal. Unifying the works, this paper explores Sushi's spiritual home where he gains a free mental state between the heaven and the earth to realize the seclusion of mind from the following four aspects: far away from the trammels of common customs to pursue his true self; forgetting the annoyment and misfortune in life; an easy attitude towards life; and going on a journey.The life feeling and the unyielding life gained by Sushi in learning from Tao Yuan-ming enlighten us that: governing with morals and loving your life. |
