The army primary school played an important role on training military personnel in the late Qing Dynasty. After Objectively introducing the small school's curriculums and management, the chapter analysis their characteristics and the actual effectiveness.In the conclusion, the thesis puts forward that the implementation of the new education system needs the protection of the adapted political system. The army primary school, as a part of the military education reform in the late Qing Dynasty, exists a great district between the ideal and reality, and briefly analyzes the reasons for this result.The old system of military education couldn't meet the needs of the late Qing government in the internal and external pressure.
