On Shen Cong-wen's Exploration Of "the Style Of Life" In War Time

This thesis intercepts Shen Cong-wen's creations during War time (1937-1946) as a major study, through the analysis of the text and with Shen Cong-wen's changes about his writing style as the breakthrough trying to reveal his creation of this unique subject of this special period in war is how to continue the exploration in the performance of life style of "Border Town".The paper first analyses Shen Congwen exile under war to explore the deeper changes in writing style of "Long River": the one is that Shen Cong-wen continues his exploration further on "the style of life" of "Border Town", on the other hand, the performance for Shen Cong-wen May 4^th Movement redemption on the road of traditional exploration, both of each other against the background, mutual control, constitute the complexity of its implication in the text. Secondly, by analysing Shen Cong-wen's prose "Virtual Candle" and "Seven-color Nightmare" , in-depth inquiry Shen Congwen Xiangxi from Romanticism into the reality of the world to find the road to national salvation at the time of loss, anxiety, pain psychological history, as well as in the war to examine the inner-self into the meaning of the whole development of "the style of life".
