The research of the primary-secondary transition been paid more and more attention by foreign researchers. But for the transition research domestic is limited within the Children's School Readiness field, and for the practice articles, there're only some educational ones, while for the empirical research, there's almost none. So for the transition research from primary school to junior middle school, it's necessary to do some summarization and brief introduction in order to provide some inspiration for the transition research from primary school to junior middle school domestic in future.Firstly,research expatiates on the major fields of the transition research. :Describes the changes of transition in emotional fields, including researches of psychological stress, self-esteem, quality of life and subjective well-being;Describes the changes of academic motivation during the transition;Expatiates on the changes of peer association during the transition, including peer relation, social withdrawal, and peer aggression during the transition;Introduces the researches of transition coping strategy.Second,it expatiates on the theory related to the transition:States the influence of puberty during the transition to adolescent while entering to junior middle school from primary school;To explain the essence of transition stress with the theory of role strain.;Introduces the resilience to deal with challenges during the transition, posts the necessity of resilience during the transition, and points out that it's a necessary element for the possibility of successful transition by experiencing appropriate risks and raising resilience;The influences and improvements during the transition of the three required degree satisfactions of SDT.Third,it introduces the successful transition practice examples in foreign countries and point out protective factors and risk factors during the middle school transition。In the end , it introduces two transitional cross-culture studies, and extracts some localization suggestions and inspirations during the transition from the culture differences between the Eastern and Western worlds.
