The cartoon character creation come from cartoonist about experience of life style and understanding of character psychology.How to select good material is the fundation of cartoon creation,in other words tell the story is the most important things in cartoon character design,so the story is the soul of my Graduation Design.From "Mulan" to "Kung Fu Panda" that give me a lot of enlightenment, Chinese cartoon had a glorious history,But at present Chinese cartoon already behind the developed countries,to get rid of the difficulties of Chinese cartoon creation,the only way is to keep the nationalization of artistic creation,we must fully utilize the Chinese rich culture,Starting from the nationalization material and aesthetic elements,the national spirit and temperament,nationalization creation technique and style etc,we can select and arrange the elements from Chinese traditional culture, innovation can be promote Chinese cartoon creation,that is why I choose the miao oral literature"chu e jie"for my cartoon character design script,"chu e jie" is a miao traditional festival that is about miao people remember to a brave girl kill the demon for people,this is a beautiful story of justice over evil.In the design process I try to fred and quest the method about Chinese cartoon character design.
