The Fine Art teaching practice(herein refered as "the practice"), which is a basic vocational course of the Fine Art education course system in colleges, is also a key procedure in training the future teachers in Fine Art, whose ability of applying theory into practice can get raised through it.Recently, by deeply developing the reformation of the basic education course of Fine Art and implementing the guideline(pilot) for scheduling the professional course in Fine Art(teacher education) of National colleges, some new problems occurs in the practice, which make the research of the practice necessary and urgent.This paper relates to a course study in the practice. The method of the literature, Questionnaire, Observation and Comparative study of law, isused to analysize and summarize the problems in the ractice--forinstance, improper time arrangement of the practice, the missing constructions of the practice bases, the single forms of the practice and the insufficient fund of the department. the paper also studies the problems such as inadequate preparation for the practice, the insufficient teaching hours in the practice, Evaluation of the practice, summary of the practice and the Irresponsible practice of some college and so on. Faunally, the paper raises a Preliminary plan on how to reforming and developing the practice, so that it can provide some methods and reference for adapting it to the needs of social development and enhancing the ability of students.
