Studies On Art Works At The End Of Yuan Dynasty Through Scholar Gathering

The essay studies on the relationship between scholar gathering at the end of Yuan Dynasty and art works like calligraphy and paintings.The article cut in with the historical material on scholar gathering,and took YuShan scholar gathering as the main studying object.With its social,political, economic and cultural backgrounds,together with the coming down works, the article tried to draw a vivid picture for that certain time and region,and then summarize the characteristics of their beauty taste,inditing theory and practices,in which we can learn the influence by scholar gathering on the art works.There are three parts in the article:First of all,the types and reasons for the popularities of scholar gathering are discussed,and YuShan scholar gathering,as the typical one,was introduced speciaLLy.Secondly,the relationship between scholar gathering and Scholar-Merchant's cultural opinions was learnt.Last part studied mainly on the relationship between Yuan art works and thoughts of "restore ancient ways".How the business cultural opinions influenced the scholar gathering,the inheriting and inauguration for the move of "restore ancient ways" and new situation for art works are mainly studied.The article has some theoretical meanings on studying multi-dimensionally the relationships among business,Yaji and art works in Jiangnan at the end of Yuan Dynasty,where is also the article tries to innovate.MeanwhiLe,the essay intends to explore the art style in different groups and areas and its social culture components as well.
