Studies On Pronunciation Of Pingyi (Baotai) Dialect

The Chinese dialect is our country precious culture resources,and it is also the important non-material cultural heritage.But along with society's development, economical and cultural exchanges among different dialect areas are also gradually deepening;and along with the popularization of Putonghua,some unique Phonetic Phenomena are facing with evanishment situation.The investigation and study of dialect not only provides a rich source material for the modern linguistics but also preserves rich dialect resources of our country,and it has a vital significance on the development of non-material culture.What this article discusses is the dialect Phonetic condition in Pingyi County. Pingyi County locates in the west of Linyi,the south of Shandong Province.According to Language Atlas of China written by Li Rong and Pingyi, dialect belongs to Zhongyuan Mandarin in Chinese Mandarin area.Based on Shandong Dialect District written by Qian Zengyi and Gao Wenda.Pingyi belongs to West Lu area.Basing on the methods of descriptiveness with interpretation and synchrony with diachrony,this paper mainly takes the town of Baotai as the investigation spot,makes a study on the Pingyi dialect pronunciation phenomenon in many respects in order to explore its evolution path.This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter One is the introduction part.Firstly,it outlines Pingyi County's geographical location and its historical course and social condition;then introduces briefly Pingyi dialect;finally it explains the investigation situation and the material collection situation.Chapter Two is the phonetic system part.This chapter is divided into two sections:the first section describes the phonetic system of Pingyi dialect, explains the special phonemes which needs to be paid attention;In the second section,firstly it induces the coordinate relations which phonetic system of Pingyi dialect,and secondly draws up the sound to mix gathers the table;In the third section,it manufactures the tables of Chinese characters with homophone, to Phenomena of one Chinese Loanword with some different readings in Pingyi Language,polysemy and literary reading and colloquial reading has carried on the special indication.Chapter Three is the sound change part.This chapter mainly makes a description of sound change phenomenas,including tone sandhi,retroflex suffixation, assimilation,disassimilation and so on.It is divided into three sections:The first section,tone sandhi.What it mainly discusses is two-block transpositions. The last character whether to read as the neutral tone,divides into layer on layer and the heavy light two kinds of situations.The second section is retroflex suffixation.Pingyi dialect is divided into two types:the can-rolling type and the level-lingual.The latter discusses the phonologic features in Pingyi dialect. The third section is assimilation,disassimilation.The assimilation is divided into two kinds of situations including initial assimilation and final assimilation.Chapter Four is characteristic analysis part.Firstly,comparing with Putonghua,we obtains the characteristic of the phonetic system of Pingyi dialect; then we discovers the formation reason and the evolution path of Pinyi dialect basing on the analysis of its regional distribution and its source and course.This chapter is divided into three sections,three aspects of phonetic system to carry on the comparative analysis separately.
