| Content: This thesis is divided into four parts. These two sections of the first chapter probe into the complicated mentation of the writer based on Li Rui's personal life experiences. The two sections of the second chapter mainly analyze the writer's unique understanding of history. I think that he put his rationality into his writing to describe the history and the life of the world and meanwhile he indicates the unreasonableness of history and further more he uses some poetic point, some kind of symbolization in addition to get some hope from his novels. The third chapter mainly analyzes Li Rui's new discovery about the normal life. He finds that it is very difficult to make some changes about normal life and at the same time he deeply takes a thought about why people are leaving from the land. In the last chapter, I carry on the analysis to discuss the healing of human spirit. Looking through the whole creations of him I find that he hasn't changed anything about his faith, no matter the"Thick Earth"series, the"The Salty City"or the"Waling Mountains"series, he takes no exaggeration of the local color, the local human sentiment, the custom as the strong point of writing. According to his creations, I find that he promotes the meaning of the human difficulties with the eternal significance. And by reason of this he enables his novel writing to a quite open space at this present age in our country. In Li Rui's novels, regardless of the"person's process"or the destiny, he attempts to promulgate the feelings about people's survival condition. By his unique feeling about the world Li Rui gradually makes his own way to describe the world he lives in and as the embodiment return to this original state of human, the"people's process"that he describes finally has the implication of human being. |
