Victor Hugo was the outstanding leader and tutor in Romanticism Literature in France, and was also remarkable in the history of world literature. He had created a large number of poems, operas and novels. Les Misérables is the most representative of his work for the great picture of most half century and the profound Humanitarianism Thought that throughout the whole work..Characters in Les Misérables show vivid traits of categorization,fully displaying the contrastive principle of the author's arts, and clearly showing the aesthetic ideas of Romanticism .This paper goes on specific analysis on the evil images that appears in Les Misérables and categorizes their personalities, therefore explores the cause and root of the evil and appreciates the kindness instead of the evil. Moreover, the negative aspects the author described just illustrated the positive aspects that the author affirmed from the reverse side, the creation of the Evil Images just presented the kindness that the author praised highly from the reverse side. Furthermore, with the spirit of mercy and philanthropies, the evil can change to kindness to perform the multiple variations of kindness and evil in the work.This paper takes a fresh view on the exploration of Hugo's Humanitarianism from the evil Images in Les Misérables. Meanwhile, drawing a conclusion of the cause, character and essence of Hugo's Humanitarianism thought from various kinds of Humanitarianism and highlighting the significant function of Humanitarianism in shaping the images in the work. We can change the miserable word to the happy world faithfully with the hope of the return of the fine human nature, the kind and omnipotent Humanitarianism, the spirit of mercy and philanthropies, and moral reclaim.
