| Researchers pay more attention to the female novels during the May 4th Movement because the novels were written in a special period and by female writers. The current academic world has made the rich achievement to the May 4th Movement female novel's research, but these researches mainly concern the "story" of the novels, and pay the few attention to the "discourse" ,so they has neglected the narrative characters of these novels. With many kinds of research methods and the existing research results, this thesis derived from the western Feminist Narratology ,attempts to analysis the narrative characteristics of representative female novels during the May 4th Movement from the Perspective of the Feminist Narratology, and excavate sex influence on the narrative choice of writers in the special May 4th Movement historical and cultural context,and analyze emphatically the reason behind the female writers' narrative choice.In addition to Introduction and Conclusion ,the thesis is composed of three parts, amounts to 30,000 characters.Introduction leads to the subject, which describes its current state of research and meanings.Chapter one cares for the narrative perspective of novels by female writers during the May 4th Movement. Female writers during the May 4th Movement became the real narrative subject for the first time in Chinese history. They centered on the social historical life and themselves in women's special view, and expressed female special gender experiences and arousal of female consciousness. They made great contributions to the authority construction of the female writing as well.In Chapter two, from the stylistic patterns, female writers during the May 4th Movement often used the form of letters or diaries to narrate their story just like Luyin, FengYuanjuan, Bingxin and so on. This phenomenon results not only from that these female writers did not have sophisticated narrative theory and aesthetic ideas, but also from their edge-feeling.In Chapter three, from the narrative voice, in some novels of Luyin ,ShiPingmei and Bingxin, the authors often involuntarily infringe the narrator's discourse power, even threaten the independence of characters and readers, which is directly connected with the cultural identity and edge-feeling of female writers during the period.Conclusion sums up the whole thesis, and express the writer's think about the thesis. |
