Chinese pronouciation is an important aspect of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language,especially for the students who are in the initial stage.There is a lot of errors.Most of the overseas students who study Chinese in Xinjiang are from Russian and Central Asia.The errors of them are different from the errors of other students.To analyze their specific errors and to bring up some corresponding teaching strategies will have practical significance.This article surveys the use of applied linguistics method , designed a pronunciation questionnaire and a student's background questionnaire ,select 20 students learning Chinese for a month. in primary classes,investigate and record their Chinese pronunciation .Through the survey statistics,we can summarize the characteristics of them.There are various errors in their initials, finals.and every tones are not complete,and when they read words and sentences,every tone of the character is very likely.And from the negative transfer from their mother language,the negative transfer from the target language,the conext of students lerning,classroom teaching ,and the"Chinese Phonetic Alphabet"these five aspects ,we analyzed the cause of their errors.In the last,we put forward specific and concrete proposal to the teachers,textbooks,teaching methods,learning method,as well as the"Chinese Phonetic Alphbet".
