| Many writers have vagabond experience in life in the history of Chinese literature, their vagabond's life brings the unique feeling to them. Ai Wu is one of a wandering writer, and he is also a seeker. Ai Wu's six years life of vagrancy is the source of his creative, so he created the first picaresque collection of short stories——Journey to the South in the history of Chinese literature.In Journey to the South , there is a unique and exotic natural beauty, AiWu used lyrical technique of expression to describe vagabond life, its creative theme and writing practices were very unique in the modern Chinese literature works.After the publication of many commentators have been studied this collection of short stories for several years, and these studies also continue to enrich and improve. The version of Journey to the South had changed during the years from 30s～70s, accompanied by changes about the awareness of writer and development of the times .In the paper, I choose the research on the version of Journey to the South as the reviewing Center, then study the relationship between AiWu's literary and artistic creation and development of left-wing literature.This paper is composed of three parts:The major research of the first part is about the original version of Journey to the South, it contains 8 novels , then I will discover some Literature of Drifting Motif from them. The second part will use historical research methods to study version changes of Journey to the South, though these changes I will analyse process of change about Journey to the South to " Journey to the South " Furthermore, version changes could reflect update of Literature of Drifting Motifting in the past.The third part is a summary of the first two chapters, I will put AiWu and his work into the background of left-wing literature time. The study will mainly focus on the relationship which show up harmony and differents between version changes of Journey to the South and development of left-wing literature. |
