Cultural market refers to the place where cultural and recreational services are provided in the form of commodities.With the coming of the era of creative economy, the research on cultural market has attracted more and more attention.Ming Dynasty was a unified feudal empire ruled by Han nationality.Ming's politics has been criticized by quite a lot of person,but its social life has infinite vitality for us to start a fresh history. The rapid development of commodity economy,not only reflected in the traditional trade industries,but also in agriculture and the newly emerging cultural industries.Socio-economic prosperity of the Ming Dynasty has laid a solid foundation for cultural prosperity.It is the improvement of living standards that promoted the consuming of cultural products.Various popular art forms had been on the stage, showing their existence and attracting their own audience.Literati,merchants and the public sectors totally enjoyed themselves in cultural activity,whereas their different economic and social status.As a result of this,cultural market flourished,ignoring the negative political factors.This paper,based on previous studies,selects novel market,painting market,and tourist activity,which are the most typical commodity economy at that time,hoping to have an initial understanding of cultural market in the Ming Dynasty.The popular novels in the Ming Dynasty were cultural products that have the highest level of the market.Its publication,edition,publishing had developed their own characteristics and full of commercial means.Painting market established on the fierce competition,as well as on the social basis.Paintings,in the eyes of brokers,are investment goods that can be preserved and bringing profits.However,in the eyes of scribes,it is the collection of goods having high artistic value.And in the eyes of ordinary buyers,it is the behalf of the taste of refined products.Tourism activities was a social trend,all sectors of the society take part in tourism with great enthusiasm.
