A kind of language is a kind of culture; culture of different backdrop brings forth different pragmatic principle and politeness principle. According to this, there is special politeness principle in Chinese language. The study of politeness principle has improved speedily abroad, but it's not adapted to Chinese culture absolutely. There are obvious differences of politeness between Chinese and west countries, including the conception, meaning and extension. At the same time, the Chinese language couldn't but be infinitely influenced by the culture as it's evolution. So it's possible for us to construct the politeness principle based on Chinese culture, and to try to describe its pragmatic principle and politeness principle. Chinese culture is based on Confucianism, digested with Taoism and Buddhism. Ground on it, we study out the primary principle of ZhongYong and subordination principle of periphrastic. Including disparage oneself to respect others; look for the sameness and avoid difference; look for auspicious and avoid unpropitious things; people are ranked; implied and circumlocutory. This paper is trying to analyze its cultural implication.
