The Decline Of The Social Democratic Party During The Period Of Weimar

Germany Social Democratic Party,played an important role in the Germanic modern and contemporary history,especially in the early period of the constantly changing 20th Century, Social Democratic Party had a great influence on the proletarian movement in the Europe.Since the end of World Warâ… ,Social Democratic Party,Germany shouldered the important mission to restore and rebuild Germany.Domestically they signed Versailles Peace Treaty with Triple Entente;moreover, internationally they built a democratic government which is regarded as "perfect" by western countries.We can say that the building of Weimar Republic is the developmental peak of Social Democratic Party within this period,and it is also the starting point of decline at the same time.There are two reasons for why Social Democratic Party can be able to the party in power.On the one hand,Social Democratic Party itself was powerful;on the other hand,reactionary class in Germany diverted martial responsibility,so Social Democratic Party became a scapegoat.So it can be said that Social Democratic Party was crisis-ridden at the beginning of its reign.One disaster after another,Versailles Peace Treaty was signed,and even ordinary people strongly dislike Social Democratic Party because the treaty made their standard of living lower,which aggravated the hatred towards Social Democratic Party.Simultaneously,armies and reactionary forces were also ready to make troubles,and other parties and Social Democratic Party were even more seemingly in harmony but actually at variance.Due to the failure of government policy and a collection of reasons,for example,internal segmentation weakened their own strength,brought on the decline of Social Democratic Party during this period.This thesis is devided into three parts in all.The first part is an introduction.It mainly introduces research significance,research status,research contents as well as innovation points.The second part is main text.It is devided into three aspects:the first one is,declining expression of Social Democratic Party during the Weimar Republic.It contains its general situation of development before declining,and the affections that different political trends in different periods have on development.The second one is,reasons for the decline of Social Democratic Party during Weimar Republic, analyzing the reasons concretely from different aspects.The last one is,the influences of Social Democratic Party's declining,mainly analyzing those on Germany.The third part is a conclusion.Here I will make a brief summary on the decline of the Socil Democratic Partym.
