The prosperity of message literature could be attributed to the fast development of cell-phone short messages, and the scholars have attached importance to the research on short message. This thesis is mainly about the homophonic message. From the perspective of discourse analysis, by using the theory of Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar, cognitive science, psychology, folklore and so on, we make a comprehensive analysis on the mechanism of phonetic, form, semantic and cognition of the homophonic message.In the research of phonetic mechanism we mainly discuss the speech relations between ontological and harmonious body, as well as the role of homophonic relationship in textual cohesion. The research of form mechanism mainly investigates the constitutional characteristics of lexicon and syntax in homophonic message discourse, and the type of Style. The form has an impact on the semantic coherence and development, which in favor of the research of the semantic. Semantic content includes the logic of semantic relations, concept meaning and discourse meaning. It has a comprehensive analysis on intrinsic semantic relations and mechanism. Cognitive generate mechanism, from the perspective of cognitive context and psychology, mainly researches the generation process in homophonic message, which provides the basis for writing and research in homophonic message discourse. The thesis investigates the homophonic message discourse from easy-to-digest; it breaks the limitation of studying the single homophonic word, and sums up some characteristics and rules. The thesis offers a new way for studying the message discourse; it will also help us to promote the development of literature and communicative ability.
