Study Of The Poetic And Musical Artistic Conception In Performing Zhao Yuanren's Songs

Mr. Zhao Yuanren , a successful linguist, writer, musician and educator in the modern history of our country , is based upon all fields of literature and art. In music, he created a variety of different genres and styles of works, most of which were vocal works. Lots of songs from "New collection of poetry" have become classic in modern Chinese music history as well as classical music stage repertoire. His art songs, in general style and specific creative techniques , not only take on the characteristics of Western art songs, but also inherit the traditional Chinese culture (especially on aspects of a combination of music and melody). These works of Zhao Yuanren's have become not only the most precious part of all his music works in terms of "music" as well as in the "literary" sense , but also a valuable artistic heritage in modern art songs of our country. At the same time as a linguist and writer, Mr. Zhao Yuanren's critically combined the art songs with the literature which demonstrated an integral part of music . Therefore, I believe that the research on the point of "poetic and music artistic conception" in M r. Zhao Yuanren's art songs are new and of practical significance.The article explores the works of Mr. Zhao Yuanren vocal creation and "poetic and music artistic conception" and the level of features mainly in the following three chapters: Chapter I, Zhao Yuanren's life and production background. This chapter includes Zhao Yuanren' s life, the impact of May 4th culture on Zhao Yuanren, Zhao Yuanren's contribution to the history of modern music and his position .Chapter II, The foundation and artistic conception of Zhao Yuanren's producing art songs. This chapter dissertates the theory of his Art Songs. Mr. Zhao's style of producing are discussed in the foundation, and analysis of certain art songs and performing vocality are interpreted in the part of artistic conception of Zhao Yuanren's producing art songs.Chapter III, The aesthetic level of Zhao Yuanren art songs and their performances . In this chapter , it is stated that the works should have the aesthetic characteristics and performers must possess the aesthetic self-cultivation. The authenticity and the creativity of the songs should be unified, skills of performing the art songs and lyrics should be reunified.
