The Preferential Policies And Treatments To Soldier's Dependants In Chongqing During The Anti-Japan War

During Anti-Japan War,the people in Chongqing,the provisional capital at that moment,called Army Recruiment Demonstration Zone,devoted themselives to the country and serviced in the army on after another.For the soldiers,they had to support the family besides their personal living.Therefore,Chongqing Government,each local government of immigrant construction area and non-govermental orgnizations established series of preferential policies and treatments for soldiers' dependants and did kinds of works concerning preferential treatments of soldiers' dependants under the laws and regulations for preferential treatments of soldiers' dependants issued by the National Government in accordance with their actual conditon,in order to resolve the soldiers' actual difficuties and encourage them to fight.Obviously,they had made great achivements and contributed much to win the war.But at the same time,there were also many problems during implementing the preferential policies because of its defective running mode,deficient fanacial support,shackle of their organization and other actual problems.So,it is a much benifical reference for our work on preferential treatment of soldiers' dependants to study their acchivements and loss.The thesis is composed of five parts,which are:Introduction,as the first part, outlines the reasons to select this subject,current studies and its emphsis and difficulty in the study,and also definites the studying objective and scope.The second part is a brief introduction of soliders' dependants during the war,which shows background of the preferential policies,and specifies the regulations and policies for soliders' dependants issued by the National Government,with the emphysis on Regulations on Preferential Treatments for Dependants of the Soldiers against Enemy.The third part focuses on the preferiential treatments for soliders' dependatns of differents kinds during the Anti-Japan War which were carried out by Chongqing Government,each local government of immigrant construction area and non-governmental organization.The forth part evaluates the preferiential treatments for soldiers' dependants on its specialty,acchivements and meaning,as well as the problems and reason.Finanlly,there is the fifth party,namely concluction,summaries its relevaltion to the preferiential treatment for the soldiers' dependants in peace period.
