This study searched the relationship between Subjective well-being(SWB),coping styles and personality of 395 young college teachers of Chongqing.The study methods are adopted literature review and questionnaire,studying the joint influence of coping styles and personality on SWB.With the data processed by SPSS and Amos,the main results of this research are as follows:(1)The six coping styles of young college teachers of Chongqing correlate with SWB.Matured coping styles,such as Problem-solving and searching for help,correlate with SWB positively.Immatured coping styles,such as withdraw,blaming oneself,fantasy correlate negatively with SWB.As a mixed coping style,rationalization correlates also negatively with SWB.(2) The EPQ personality traits of young college teachers of Chongqing correlate with SWB.Among them,Extroversion correlate with SWB positively;Neuroticism,Psychoticim correlate negatively with SWB.(3) The coping styles of young college teachers of Chongqing correlate with their EPQ personality traits.(4) The coping styles and EPQ personality traits of young college teachers of Chongqing can predict SWB very well.They have interaction effect on SWB.(5) We created and tested three Structural equation models of coping styles,EPQ personality traits and SWB.Results show that the prediction and forecasting precision of the third model is preferable.EPQ personality traits of young college teachers of Chongqing can regulate the relation between coping styles and SWB.
