The dissertation selects Dadaohui of Fujian in the Republic China as a case, trying to investigate their developing background, general situation as well as means of action. It also draws the outline of interaction between Dadaohui and the local society, trying to reveal their operation mechanism.In the Republic China, Dadaohui moved widely in Jiangsu,Anhui,,Fujian,the Northeast and other places. By comparison, Dadaohui of Fujian existed for a longer time and spread to a wider area. And they rebelled quite frequently. They acted mainly in the vast areas of villages, and kept close touch with country gentlemen,bandits,clans and other villages forces. So, Dadaohui of Fujian showed more indigenous characteristics. In allusion to the regional characteristics of Dadaohui of Fujian, the dissertation gives up researching its origin, turning to study its historical background, general situation, action logic and so on. And the dissertation also strives to combine macro-historical process with local history environment and combine case study with theory discussion.The finding of this study shows that conformation of Dadaohui of Fujian complexified gradually because the various forces involved in the process of social transformation. Dadaohui of Fujian were just secret armed tongs that were originally used by farmers to defend themselves and resist the violence. Then they also resisted country forces. Some became bandits; some became revolutionary forces; the others became the political tool of Kuomintang and reactive tangs. Through analysis of their organizations and riots, we know that the action logic of Dadaohui of Fujian rooted in the grassroots community, and we can see their inherent indigenousness.
