It also investigates the relationships between brigandism in Fujian on the hand and political, economic and natural factors on the other, with the conclusion drawn as follows, the rampant brigandism in Fujian in the Reign of R.O.C. was, to some extent, related to particular human environment of Fujian (i.e. the local warlords, the clan forces, the armed fighting between groups of people and the secret societies, etc.).The study of brigandism of Fujian in the reign of R.O.C. discloses, from indirect sources, the nature of the ruling of Fujian by the Northern Warlords and the kuomintang government, which helps not only to deepen the research into Fujian's history of revolution, its history of military affairs, its history of economy and that of culture, but also to throw light on the relation between brigandism of Fujian in the period and its socio-politics and economy in terms of reality.
