Jounal of Jinwu issued first on January of 1929 and stopped in September of 1930, including 12 issues in one volume. It was edited by Shao Xunmei and Zhang kebiao. Because of ambiguous status of Shao Xunmei, so far, Jounal of Jinwu didn't arouse researchers' interest for a long time. Even it was mentioned occasionally, the evaluation was beyond fair. The paper attempts to reveal the original visage of Jounal of Jinwu by perusing entirely as a supplement to the research of Shao Xunmei. The relationship between Jounal of Jinwu and Shao Xunmei's practice in aesthetism is displayed from the following three aspects: individual analysis, text analysis and society analysis. In charter one "individual analysis", the author focus on the influence of personal experience and taste on Jounal of Jinwu and the character of "personalization". In charter two "text analysis", based on the former charter, the author divides the text of Jounal of Jinwu into three parts: (1) poems, (2) novels, (3) criticism, introduction and essay. Analyzing the artistic style of some key writers and works through the implementation of narratology and communication theory, we can track the trail of changes of Jounal of Jinwu. In charter three "society analysis", the paper studies the change of the feature and the real reason for its suspension from the view of modernity with the economic, political and historical background.According to the analysis on the Jounal of Jinwu, the pursuit and trail of change of Shao Xunmei in aesthetism obviously emerged. Jounal of Jinwu recorded Shao Xunmei's practice in aesthetism in China, which was against the historical reality. That is why Shao Xunmei changed his attitude in aesthetism from persistence to abandence.
