The relationship among college students' perfectionism, self-esteem and interpersonal communication is a problem with theory and practice significance. Deep research of this problem will benefit the college students' mental health and mental health education in college. This paper made an examination on 809 college students from 8 college, using CAPS,SES,TSBI,IT,Social Anxiety Scale and interpersonal sensitivity part of SCL-90. We explored the characteristics of perfectionism of college students, explored relationship among college students' perfectionism, self-esteem and interpersonal communication, established and tested the relationship models. The main results are as follows:1.The total score and the score of all dimensions of college students' perfectionism are at medium level. It shows that the level of college students' perfectionism is at medium level.2.Differences of college students' perfectionism exist in sex, majors, and not appear in different grades, city or country and single child or not. College students' perfectionism is not influenced significantly by Family factors exept Family atmosphere and family style.3.There is significant relationship between college students' perfectionism and self-esteem. Four dimensions of perfectionism have certain forecast to self-esteem.4. College students' perfectionism has direct and indirect influence to interpersonal communication. The self-esteem is playing intermediary agent role between them.
