The literature is the artistic world which is constructed by the language. The literary language is a subject which is concerned by literary theories for a long time, moreover, it is a valuable research subject. In this dissertation, using the synthetic method, the auther studies thoroughly the differences between the poetry language and novel language from the style differences. It provides us much help for our further study about literary language.In the introduction, the author discusses two questions. Why do we study the literary language? Why do we study the differences of literary language from the view of different styly. Profit from the viewpoint of literary intermediary discusses, the auther discusses the boundary of poetry language and novel language. The auther thinks that the language is not only in text stucture, but also in the generation and reading of it.Chapter I : The differences between poetry language and novel language during the generation stageBecause of the intangible and great regulation by the style, once the auther chooses poem or novel, it means that he has chosen one kind of completely different utterance. At the same time, the talent author definitely displays own creativeness fully under the specific linguistic environment. He will try his best to break the bonds of style and creat one new form. He will make art miracle.Chapter II: The differences of the outer feature between poetry language and novel language in text stutureProfit from Wang Bi's point of "word, image, meaning", according to Ingarden's four arragement of version theory, the "word, image, meaning" has composed the organic multilayer formation version of literary texe. The auther studies it from two aspects, that is, the outer feature and the inner feature. This chapter and chapter III are discussed very emphatically in the dissertation.In this chapter, the author discusses the differences of the "word" level from the views of the version sense, the hearing sense, and the content's length.Chapter III: The differences of the internal features between poetry language and novel language text.In this chapter, the auther thinks that novel is separated from the "poetics" tradition which the poetry belongs to by narration. Narration and lyricism are the essential difference between language of novel and poetry. From the vies of this essential difference, the auther studies the differences of image state, text stucture and language consciousness between poetry language and novel language.Chapter IV: The Differences between poetry language and novel language during the reading stageThe text must be interpreted in accordance to the style rules. First of all, the reader should has the sense of style, useing the methods of reading poetry to read poetry and the ways of reading novel to read novel. When reading poetry, you should make full use of imagination to grasp the image, shake the wings of imagination to appreciate the artistic conception of the poetry. The poetry needs the empathize. When reading novel, you should thread up the character closely. Reading novel also need to imagine, but there is distinct distinction between the need of reading the novel-"imagined reality" and the need of reading the poetry-"imagine unreality".The westen literature theories' development has passed through approximately by the author - work - reader's process. At present, the cultural research emerges. Under this background, using the synthetic method, the auther try to grasp the differences between poetry language and novel language from above three aspects. The auther tries his best to grasp the prototype of literary language so that we will have a more thorough understanding about literary language.
