A Research On The Relationship Among Creativity, Psychoticism And Social Adaptation Of University Students

Study of creation has been a hot topic for recent years, and is tightly related with college education. The previous researches on psychoticism,social adaptation and creativity are disputable. The study on this topic can provide theory basis for creative education and vital foundations and references to education and mental consultation,then benefits education of perfect personality,well-adaption and full-developed students. It can improve university students'mental healthy level and promote mental healthy education.Based on above mentioned reasons, this research adopted the method of survey study.The study selected at random 600 college students from 5 key universities including Huazhong University of Science and technology, Wuhan University ,Centre China Normal University, China University of Geosciences and Hubei University in Wuhan as subjects,questionnaire survey was carried out with 555 effective questionnaires resceived. The result of descriptive statistic, factor analysis, analysis of variance ,EFA, CFA analysis of survey data are as follows:(1)The questionnaire of college students'thinking mode includes college students'creative personality sub-questionnaire and college students'creative thinking sub-questionnaire.College students'Creative personality questionnaire is a 5-factor model involving endurance ,independent,conservative,inquisitive, curiousness and brooding factor,college students'thinking quertionnaire includes four factors:flexible ,obserbant, intuitive and inspirable.(2)The correlation analysis on psychoticism and social adaptation shows that self-esteem and depression have a remarkably negative correlation; and psychoticism correlates negatively self-esteem ,while positively depression and interaction anxiousness notably.(3)Correlation Analysis shows that Psychoticism is negatively and significantly correlated with endurance , conservative , inquisitive factor,and positively with independent factor.The dimension of intuitive thinking on college students correlates negatively psychoticism, and another factors have no marked correlation with it. (4)The self-esteem level of college students is correlated positively with creative personality and its every dimension notably, and negatively with conservative;and positively about the creative thinking and also every dimension notably except intuitive thinking.(5)college students'depression level has a remarkably negative correlation with the total score of creative personality and its endurance, conservative and inquisitive factor , and also with creative thinking and its flexible , obserbant factor and intuitive thinking, but positively with conservative,.(6)college students'interaction anxiousness level is correlated negatively with endurance, independence and inquisitive factor notably, and has the same state with the creative thinking and its flexible, obserbant factor and Inspirable thinking ,but positively with conservative.(7) There are significant differences in different dimensionalities of college students'creativity, psychoticism,self-esteem,dispression,interaction anxiousness accord- Ing to the demology.
