Political speech or revolutionary speech caused by the social concept and art concept of"politics first, art second"in 1950s and 60s dominated everything and political ideology standardized literature norm."17-years literature"was branded"Red".The visible text of"Song of Youth"is also shrouded in the"Red Halo"of revolution. However, from the effect of the text, what touches the readers most is not Lin Daojing's revolution story during her growth, but the love stories between her and three men hidden in covert text, which is the internal reason why"Song of Youth"has the great art vitality. The upsurge of"Red Classics"flourished from 1990s to the present provides us with a favorable chance to reread and analyze the novel. From the point of view of narration, this paper tries to explore the core of"Song of Youth"from the mode of love, narrative perspective and narrative plot structure, and then the author concludes that"Song of Youth"is in fact a love story.
