Research On Feng Guifen's Scoial Thought

Feng Guifen was a great thinker in modern China history. His thoughts played vanguard role and had far-reaching influences in modern China history. This article discusses Feng Guifen`s social thought that was expounded in his The Protest of Jiaobinlu Kangyi . Feng Guifen` social thought contained uncorrupted political system, prosperous economy, excellent education system, etc. His social thought was in line with reform thinking. He insisted that China should learn form the west and reform all respects, meantime, he also tried to dispel the cultural conflict of china and west. Feng Guifen` s social thought offered a vast space for the research on comprehension of the Chinese culture which took Confucianism as the main basis, and for the energy and mechanism in answer to challenges form the west culture.
