The previous research about the word "lilai" was weak, there are still some problems needing to solve. On the basis of the former studies, this paper gives a comprehensive description of the word "lilai" for the first time, and advances our opinions as follows:We judge the part of speech of "lilai" again. There were two kinds of statements before: time adverb and time term. In this paper, we use the research methods that combining syntax with semantics and integrating form and function to analyze a lot of examples, we find that the word "lilai" just can be adverbial or attribute. We come to a new conclusion that "lilai" is a time adverb & atypical distinguisher. Mr. Shi's method of adequate comparative can be used to prove it.We conclude the grammar significance of the word "lilai" again, which is to show a section of time that from past to a certain time. There are two definitions of the "certain time". One means the terminal point is not clear, and it can be in the past or in the future. The other means the terminal point is explicit, which it's according to the context.We first observe the sentence with "Lilai", which indicates three situations: invariant relation, quantitative change, qualitative change.We also discuss the difference among the words: "lilai", "xianglai", "yixiang", "conglai".We hope this thesis can be helpful to the areas as the Chinese grammar research and teaching Chinese as a second language. |
