A Study On The Phonetics Of Jinyun Dialect

The Jinyun Country is one of the countries of LiShui municipality in the south of Zhejiang Province,which has a long history.Jinyun dialect belongs to Jinqu part of Wu dialect,not only sharing the general characteristics of Wu dialects,but also owning lots of unique features itself.this thesis takes the phonetics of middle age people in Xinjian town of Jinyun as the main described object,and adopts the modern scientific methods,tries to give a detailed and comprehensive describing of the phonetics of the Jinyun dialect.This thesis has four chapters,the outline is following:Chapter One introduces the natural,geographical,historical conditions,and an overview of previous studies of Jinyun dialect,and the method of the research and the meaning.Chapter Two analyses the phonological system of jinyun dialect.It describes its phonology,including the initial system,the final system,the tone system and the relationship between these three parts,etc.Chapter Three analyses the internal differences among the Jinyun dialect.This includes the differences among the different pronunciations in different areas of the country,the differences among the young and the old,and the literary reading and colloquial reading,then analyses the reason.Chapter Four deals with the corresponding relationship between the phonological system of the Jinyun dialect and Guangyun phonological system.
