The over three hundred poems of Han Shan were a unique pearl of splendor in treasure-house of Chinese poetry. His poems, melted Confucianism , Taoism and Buddha together in ideology ,presented particular "heterogeneous" specification; Suited both refined and popular tastes and had a style of his own In arts. In the view of the Buddhism, his poems "were the most important fructification which the Ideology of Buddhism output in China"; He also were the significant representation of Vernacular poetry after Wang Fanzhi in Tang Dynasty .His "Han Shan Style" enriched vernacular School Construction From the theory and practice of the Tang Dynasty.People pay more attention to the Poetry of Han Shan in modern times, even a research boom occurred in the eighties and nineties of Twentieth century, Many monographs , articles did a instructive and useful research on Han Shan and his poems, however, these efforts still not enough. Firstly, the thought of Han Shan Poetry not seem to be sufficient comprehended; Secondly, It is too weak both in the research of Han Shan Style and the art analysis of Han Shan Poetry.In this paper, research was did on the thought of "heterogeneous" characteristics contained in poetry of Han Shan based on comprehensive first-hand information, then went deep into the artistic achievements of his poetry. And combined with the vernacular poetry in the Tang, added Han Shan poetry into the macro-pedigree of the development of vernacular poetry, explored its status and impact in the Mid-Tang Dynasty Poetry. In chapter one comprehensively study the ideological causes and implication of heterogeneous characteristics of poetry of Han Shan by analyzing the Mid-Tang free and compatible ideological social background, "the three religions into one" open atmosphere in Tiantai Mountain and "the social change" trend of Zen Buddhism. In chapter two looked into the unique "Han Shan style", and then explored the creative mind of Han Shan in the analysis from the perspective of arts. In chapter three observationally study Han Shan poetry by adding them into the macro-pedigree of the development of vernacular poetry combined with vernacular poetry in the Mid-Tang, further explored its status and influence in the Mid-Tang Dynasty Poetry.
