| As a leading figure of French Marxism in 20th century, Lefebvre is a vanguard of critique of everyday life in the context of modern capital society. His the Critique of Modern Consumption Society is concrete application and insightful understanding about everyday life philosophy. Taking the field of Everyday Life as cut-in point of his research, he transfers Marx's alienation criticism from the field of production and labor in classical capitalist industrial society to criticism on consuming culture in modern capitalist society. Eventually, he formed theory of the Bureaucratic Society of Controlled Consumption.The paper makes a clear analysis on developing process of his critque of consumption society, and concludes the basic perspectives of the Bureaucratic Society of Controlled Consumption at the same time pointing out revolution approach. In addition to introduction and conclusion, the paper is composed of four chapters.First chapter systematically introduce historical backgroud and theoretical origin of the Critique of Modern Consumption Society; Next, paper interprets basic views of theory on the critique of consumption society on a deep level, including the definition and characteristics of the Bureaucratic Society of Controlled Consumption; And then, the third chapter explains discarding of alienation in modern consumption society. Lefebvre specifies the man of totality is a final object. We can find true nature of man by achieving it. So cultural revolution that can make everyday life become an art work is necessay, and that is so called the cultural revolution of totality; Finally, an overall evaluation on Henry Lefebvre's theory is made according to study.In a word, the paper summarizes that although Lefebvre's theoy is a kind of cutural Utopia of culture, he opens a new ignored everyday life field which is humble and alineated. His theory has important realistic meaning and reference role for coming consumption times in China and current interpretation of Marxism.
