A Study On Li Dong-yang's Poetry And Theories

Li Dong-yang was the first Hunan poet in Ming Dynasty who produced important influence in the whole country. He turned the literary world from Tai Ge Genre to Restore Old Customs. His poetry abolished the old unhealthy trend ,and influenced the Hou Qi Zi School.In a long time,scholar over-emphasize on his theories work《Lu Tang Shi Hua》, and the theories researchor carried on making track for a root to trace to origins with the thorough analysis, enriched his poem theories.But,academic community didn't have system and overall research. Therefore,some conclusions cann't be perfect. Some researchor think his poems are the same of Tai Ge Genre's.The writer has combed Li Dong-yang' poetry and theories carefully after more thorough and overall understanding, dividing his poetry and the theorieses into four parts to elaborate. The first chapter analyses his peotry which contact his living conditions, missing hometown feeling, caring for his country and people ,social intercoursing his friends and interesting in life,using these poems to comprehend his ideology. The second chapter analyses his peotry genre ,choicing of words, rhetoric etc.. At the same time ,analysis his verse of the art special features and the evaluation of the posterity. The third chapter analyzes his Ni Yue Fu Poetry alonly, these poems have much debate ,and the article is to sum up the creativity from contents and topic. In chapter four, writer collect materials integrity and reference the scholar's achievement of the past, from his thinking highly of the literary style difference, initiating stylistic mode, claiming the innovation, emphasizing Tang Dynasty and Du Fu' poetry to position poetry theory value.In fine, Li Dong-yang a great poet who inhetited the past and usher in the future in Ming Dynasty. His poems content wealthy and his verse art has special art magic power , he still solidified a group of poems, he expanded poems developing in Ming Dynasty. His poetry and theories produced profound influence to the future generations, he should occupy an important position on the literary history.
