The Dawenkou Pottery Signs and the Jiangjunya Rock Paintings are the valuable history heritage which was found in Luzhong mountain area and Lian Yungang area in 20th century. They are the typical heritage of Dawenkou Culture. The study on Dawenkou Culture is much more and fruitful, but the interpretation of the Dawenkou Pottery Signs should be further approached. Now the interpretation of the Jiangjunya Rock Paintings is still in the primary stage, and we are not very clear about it's cultural information, initiation and belonging. The study of the historical culture relationship between the two is much less, and the current works and papers have done little correct study. The primary study in the current academy works are still under discussion. This paper will interpret the historical culture information of the two and do textual research on their inner relationship in order to track the historical evolution of Dawenkou culture.The data used here: firstly the real Dawenkou culture and Jiangjunya Rock Paintings, I have made a lot of on-the -spot investigations on the two already; secondly the studies and positive results, as well as the archaeological studies, for example, the works and the papers mentioned above, thirdly the ancient books, for example, Shan Hai Jing, Lv Shi Chun Qiu, Huai Nan Zi, Zuo Zhuan, Li Ji, Shi Ji, Han Shu and Hou Han Shu etc.(all of them are Chinese ancient books). The way I study: to sum up the archaeological data with archaeological theory, to sum up the Dawenkou Culture with the guide of history theory, based on the history data, mythology, sociology, ethnology, folklore. Basing on the archaeological data, bringing the history documents as proof, identifying each other, this paper interprets the relationship between the Dawenkou culture and the Jiangjunya Rock Paintings in order to sum up the Dawenkou culture and contribute to the study of the Dawenkou culture and Chinese civilization history.The Dawenkou Pottery Signs was discovered in the trace of Lingyang River in Gouxian, Shandong and Zhucheng Qianzhai in 1950s Century, which was the sign of the Sun, the bird or the Sun, the bird, and the mount, the important cultural heritage of the later Dawenkou culture, the ethnic totem of the Shaohao tribe. The ancient east of China was under the water before, but the area around Taishan was the place where the Shaohao tribe multiplied. It's Taishan that saved Shaohao tribe which was one branch of the ancient Chinese nation, so the ancient east was able to be prosperous and vigorous. This is the reason that our ancestors regarded Taishan as a holy, sacred, life mountain and the home of our spirit. This is the core content of Taishan culture and meaning of Taishan worship. During the later period of the Dawenkou culture, the descents of Goumang tribe which was one branch of the Shaohao tribe created the Jiangjunya paintings on the cliff of Jiangjunya which is located in Lianyungang city. It is the Jiangjunya paintings whose name is the "Eastern Tianshu" that shocks the history circles. The Jiangjunya paintings was discovered in 1981, which contains rich history and culture. But the interpretation about the Jiangjunya paintings was controversial. I think that the Jiangjunya paintings contains the ancient agriculture civilization, astronomy concept, and totem worship, and reflects representatively the later prosperity of the Dawenkou culture. The Dawenkou Pottery Signs and the Jiangjunya Rock Paintings was the sign of Shaohao tribe totem worship, carrying the information of the Shaohao tribe historical vicissitudes. |
