Study On Rock Paintings In Yongchang Area,Gansu Province

Yongchang county,gansu province is my hometown,the thesis first of all for rock yongchang region geography,history,humanities environment,rock distribution,main images and content are studied,think yongchang region geography and business status to yongchang rock formation and colorful created the objective basis and has important influence.Yongchang area since ancient times the integration of multi-ethnic rock paintings in Yongchang area has provided cultural blood and diversity of nourishment.The climate of Yongchang region provides the natural physical environment and preservation foundation for the generation and better preservation of rock paintings in this region.The long history of Yongchang provides historical opportunities and content for the formation and development of Yongchang rock painting.Through literature review,field investigation,visiting local experts and other methods,Using lots of forms to yongchang parts of beishan cliff,big spring paintings,Niu Wa mountain cliff,red pen paintings,Yang’s mountain paintings and blue stone cliff 6 paintings made detailed image content,size,quantity,through the rock dot image information,can be intuitive feeling yongchang region paintings image information,the basic research for later study.Next,the author classifies the themes of each rock painting site,and divides the rock painting images in Yongchang area into animal rock painting,figure rock painting,symbol rock painting and text rock painting.Moreover,the most discovered animal images(northern goat,rock goat,horse,cow,camel,turtle and snake,symbol and other images)are deeply analyzed and interpreted.For example,there are two explanations for hunters holding bows and arrows in rock paintings: one is that hunting images are painted on rocks to pray for hunting success,which is quite common;Another explanation is that the bow and arrow in the hunting image is regarded as a symbol of fertility,and this function and implication have been recorded in many historical documents,and become the common cognition of many ethnic groups at home and abroad.However,through careful observation and study,I agree with the first view that the meaning of bows and arrows in rock paintings in Yongchang area is more to pray for the success of hunting.On this basis,through comparing the paintings,Chinese paintings and northern rock,gansu paintings,step by step analysis of gansu yongchang region rock art image of the pioneers of the first is originated from the primitive thinking,the second is the result of yongchang region rock contains the ancients culture in hexi area,the gansu yongchang region paintings have most of the common features of northern rock,is a branch of northern rock.fter the above analysis and research on the images,content,significance and origin of rock paintings in Yongchang area,the fifth part of the paper analyzes and summarizes the following characteristics of rock paintings in Yongchang area compared with other rock paintings: There are abundant animal themes,single figures and symbols,and relatively unique images such as frogs and turtles appear.The creation time span of rock paintings is relatively small,and the rock paintings in Yongchang area are more life-like,with the emergence of early human hieroglyphs,and the distribution of rock paintings is very scattered.Finally,the aesthetic value of rock paintings in Yongchang area is deeply analyzed and summarized.The aesthetic value of rock paintings in Yongchang area mainly includes formal beauty and emotional beauty.
